Cowboy Fellowship at the Cross is a Texas style Cowboy
Church located in Boerne, Texas just outside of San Antonio.
With a “Country Attitude” we teach the Scriptures in a way that
everyone can understand. Using country music to relate to the
Bible and everyday living we bring the Scriptures to life showing
its teachings as relevant still today.
We affirm that the Bible is God’s Word, without error, teaching it
from cover to cover and relating it to our daily lives. In that, we
enjoy the events of the arena and bringing out the “Cowboy &
Cowgirl” in everyone through team roping, barrel racing events
as well as mutton bustin’ for the little ones. Though important,
the “Sandy Loam” of the arena is much like that mentioned in
the scriptures, Jesus warned us not to build on sandy ground
but rather on a foundation of “Rock.”
Therefore, the church and the teaching of God’s Word come
before anything in this fellowship. Discipleship and the making of
disciples is our number one priority here at “Cowboy Fellowship
at the Cross.” Simply put, teaching people ‘just as they are’ to
take the step by step process of living the life they were called
to live and living it God’s way. Jeremiah 29:11 “Behold I know
the plans I have for you…” We strive to bring everyone who
wants to, to find out what those plans are, and to follow them
with all their heart.
Our guidelines are to Love, Mend, Train & Send. Love people
as Christ Himself does and lay down our lives for them. Mend
them by a walk through the scriptures that can heal every hurt,
seen or unseen. Train up with and by the word of God, and
send everyone to follow the plans that God has for them.
